Short history of the theatre:
The theatre was established in 1998 on the basis of annual workshops addressed to young people from middle schools in Ustrzyki Dolne and the neighbouring areas. The initiative for setting up the theatre came from Bogdan Augustyn – the Director of the Ustrzyki Dolne Cultural Centre. Grażyna Kaznowska-Chrapko is the author of all performances, the director and the person who has been running the theatre since the very beginning of its existence. Co-authors of screenplays are young people who, observing the surrounding world and rejecting or rebelling against the contemporary reality, as well as social, civilisational and moral threats resulting from it, try to “talk” about them using the language of the theatre.
In the course of nine years, fourteen plays have been prepared:

Important awards and honourable mentions:
- Malbork – Polish Theatrical Meetings – 1998: honourable mention;
- Andrychów – Polish Meeting of Young Theatres "Odeon-2002": 2nd prize;
- Andrychów - "Odeon-2003" – honourable mention;
- Mińsk Mazowiecki - "Srebrny Zamęt Teatralny" – 2006: 1st degree prize;
- Będzin - I Będzin Theatrical Meetings "best" – honourable mention for performance "Jestem człowiekiem" and prize for directing for Grażyna Kaznowska-Chrapko.

- Odessa - Akerman (Ukraine): 2006;
- Akerman - Zatoka (Ukraine): 2007.
Moreover, the theatre played several educational performances for young pupils from middle and high schools of Ustrzyki Dolne, Nowy Sącz, Krosno, Mińsk Mazowiecki and Sanok. Several times, it acted as the co-organizer of meetings “Bieszczadzkie Biesiady Teatralne.” All performances of PARRA oscillate around the theatre of form, fine art theatre, person and imagination and item animation. They are often branded alternative theatre performances.
